Mission Beach Town Council Instagram Photo Contest

During the month of October the MBTC is holding a Instagram "Love Your Neighborhood" photo contest to give everyone the opportunity to showcase their photos of their favorite places in Mission Beach. We have paired up with some amazing local Mission Beach businesses to provide three lucky winners a unique Mission Beach gift basket containing items generously donated by our local Mission Beach businesses. Big Kahuna Beachfest - will be held Saturday October 8th in South Mission Beach. For more info on this please go to https://bigkahuna.life/home


It will feature multi-sports tournaments along with a health fair, DJ and sponsor booths. Watch teams from pros, corporate, college and meetup groups duke it out in divisions that include:

BEACH VOLLEYBALL DIVISIONS for Ages 16+

• Men’s Open & Intermediate

• Women’s Open & Intermediate

• Coed Open, Intermediate & Social

BASKETBALL DIVISIONS

• Men’s & Women’s 3-man (morning) & 5-man (Showcase in afternoon)

SO CAL COLLEGIATE BEACH VOLLEYBALL

October MBTC Membership Meeting - Will be held at 6:00 pm on Wednesday October 12th in the Community Room at Belmont Park (above the arcade). This will be the last opportunity to run for a board position in November. You can self nominate at the meeting. To be eligible to vote in the November 9th election you must be a member in good standing no later than October 9th.
