It's time for the Mission Beach Town Council's 4th Annual Mission Beach Community Toys for Tots toy drive and Don't Trash Mission Beach beach cleanup!
We have several opportunities for you to get involved this year!
1. Participate in our annual beach cleanup on December 9th from 8AM - 12 PM, hosted by Don't Trash Mission Beach! https://www.donttrashmissionbeach.com/ We will be located under the tents on the green grass near the restrooms on the south parking lot side of Belmont Park. Buckets, grabbers and gloves will be provided! As always, we will have delicious snacks from Mission Beach's own world famous Olive Bakery for you to enjoy before, during and after the cleanup. Each beach cleanup participant will receive ONE FREE roller coaster ride ticket from Belmont Park https://www.belmontpark.com/! [Toy donations are optional to attend the beach cleanup event, but are encouraged.] Each beach cleanup participant will receive ONE FREE one day swim pass to Plunge with their toy donation!
2. Starting now you can also bring a new and unwrapped toy to our co-sponsor The Plunge San Diego (3115, Ocean Front Walk, San Diego, CA 92109) and enjoy a complimentary day of swimming. Each toy qualifies for one guest's entry. Donating a toy at our beach cleanup event will also get you a one day swim pass to Plunge. https://plungesandiego.com/
3. We are also happy to offer to those who would like to contribute to our day of giving, the opportunity to shop the Mission Beach Community Amazon Wish List for a new toy to donate to Toys for Tots. You will have the option of having your donation delivered to you so you can drop it off at our beach cleanup event OR have it delivered directly to the MBTC, where we will bring your donation to the event. 4. You may also make a cash donation with one of the U.S. MARINES at the event on December 9th and receive a free swim pass from Plunge.
