The Mission Beach Town Council (MBTC) approved new pricing for memberships at the MBTC General Membership meeting on 9/13/2023. The new pricing will be $25.00 for "Resident", "Property Owner", and "Supporting" memberships - these were previously $15.00 The new pricing will be $75 for the "Business Operator" membership - this was previously $30.00. The MBTC Bylaws were updated on 9/13/2023 to reflect the new pricing.
The new pricing will go into effect on January 1, 2024 for both new memberships and renewing memberships. New memberships and memberships renewing prior to January 1, 2024 will be at the old pricing.
Note that this doesn't require any action by members who applied for membership online (our website) - the new pricing will automatically be applied during auto-renewal.
Starting on January 1, 2024, members that pay yearly by check will need to either pay online (our preferred method) or pay by check using the new pricing.
Members that have online memberships will be notified 30 days prior to auto-renewal via a renewal reminder email. If you want to cancel your membership before the new pricing goes into effect, please contact membership@missionbeachtc.com or cancel online https://www.missionbeachtowncouncil.org/manage prior to your renewal date stated in the email.
Starting on January 1, 2024, Business members may have their Business logo included on the MBTC website and also on MBTC blog emails. To have your logo included, please email membership@missionbeachtc.com and include your logo as an attachment in .PNG or .JPG/.JPEG format.
